See the world. Support the school down the road.

I believe travel is part of a child’s education. A beach vacation can introduce a new language, a different meal, or a conversation about the people who live beyond the resort. A trip to a new city can bring history to life. Even learning to navigate an airport, try something unfamiliar, and notice that other families do things differently helps kids grow into curious, thoughtful global citizens.

I also believe in supporting the education happening right here at home. North Carolina public schools face funding pressures, and PTAs often help provide the extras that make school more enriching for everyone. TTM Gives Back is one small way my travel business can contribute.

How it works

When you book a trip with The Traveling Mommune through a participating school’s PTA program,  we contribute $100 to that PTA. There’s no additional cost to your family.

I’ve curated trip ideas around school breaks, including…

  • Adventures for older kids

You can start with one of those ideas or ask me to plan a custom vacation around your own dates, interests, and budget.

Bring TTM Gives Back to your PTA

I’ve put together the trip ideas and information your PTA needs to get started. You can share the opportunity in whatever way suits your school: a link on your fundraising page, a post in your Facebook group, or flyers sent home with students. There’s no group trip to fill and no sales work for volunteers.
