Fees & Payment Policies

We offer free quick consultations (“getting to know you” meetings) to make sure that we jive.

If we’re all on the same page, you’ll engage our travel advisors in one of three ways–a quick consultation, a full trip design package, or a group vacation. The Travel Design Fee or Consultation Fee are non-refundable. The group vacations do not have a design fee, but do require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

The Travel Design Fee includes the following services:

  • Custom Itinerary

    We will create a personalized itinerary based on your preferences, interests, and requirements. This includes suggesting attractions, parks, restaurants, and activities that align with your family’s ages and interests. We will take into account factors like budget, duration of the trip, and any specific requests you may have.

  • Research and Planning

    We will conduct thorough research on various destinations and accommodations to find the best options that suit your needs, considering factors like accessibility, amenities, safety, and reviews to ensure a seamless travel experience.

  • Coordination of Transportation

    We will assist in arranging transportation during your trip. This could involve booking flights, train tickets, car rentals, or providing guidance on public transportation options based on your itinerary.

  • Booking Accommodations

    We will help you secure suitable accommodations based on your preferences, such as hotels, resorts, vacation rentals, or bed and breakfasts. They will consider factors like location, amenities, and budget constraints while making these arrangements.

  • Exclusive Deals and Discounts

    As travel experts, we often have access to exclusive deals, offers, and discounts that may not be readily available to the general public. We will use their industry connections to secure the best prices and value for your travel arrangements.

  • Road Trip Suggestions

    If you are planning a road trip, we will provide suggestions for interesting stops along your route. They will identify attractions, landmarks, scenic spots, or hidden gems that you can explore during your journey, making it more enjoyable and memorable.

  • Destination Information

    The agent will provide you with detailed information about your chosen destinations, including local customs, important landmarks, safety tips, and any necessary travel documentation. This ensures that you are well-prepared and can make the most out of your trip.

Refunds

For travel advising services, your travel arrangements booked through us will be refundable or changable for a limited period of time (as determined by the policies of the service provider–hotel, tour company, Airbnb host, etc). After that, travel becomes non-refundable and non-changable (unless you have purchased travel insurance and your policy covers your cancelation).

For Mommune Group Vacations, a $500 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking and final payment is due 45 days before travel. You may set up a payment plan that works for your family simply by contacting us. For designed vacations, a deposit determined by the suppliers will be due at time of booking. Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer, or check.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your trip for any reason, we require notice by email at least 45 days before the scheduled travel date. If you cancel within 45 days of departure, you will be charged the full amount of the trip.

We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 45 days of departure, except in the case of a complete trip cancellation by us. In the unlikely event of a cancellation by us, we will refund all payments made by our clients.

We highly recommend that our clients purchase travel insurance to protect their investment in the case of a necessary cancellation. Please note that travel insurance is not included in the price of our tours, but will be offered to you at the time of booking.
